Webinar 2026 Update on the scheduling environment of the national general purpose clusters

The scheduling environment on the national general purpose compute clusters is a dynamic system that adapts to various aspects of the supply of and the demand for the heterogeneous compute resources that they make available. This presentation is an update of the scheduling environment on these clusters including methods for understanding the changing states of the clusters, resources for exploring account usage of the clusters, recommendations for minimizing wait times and maximizing total usage of an account as well as ways to learn more about the scheduler’s behaviour.
