Webinar 2022 Profiling GPU codes with Nsight

Nsight is NVIDIA's most advanced and recent set of profiling tools for GPU codes. Two specific packages from the set - Nsight Compute (an interactive kernel profiler for CUDA applications) and Nsight Systems (a full code performance analysis tool) - are installed on our clusters, and are the subject of this webinar. In this presentation I will describe setting up the software (including the steps required to run these graphics-heavy applications on our systems) and demonstrate their main features using some simple CUDA codes. No prior knowledge of CUDA is required.
