Webinar 2014 Managing your files effectively at SHARCNET with SVN

Often people in the same research group use the same source files and make modifications on their own. During the course of a project this could result in a number of slightly different versions of the same program used by different members of the group, which could cause unexpected results. This is especially inconvenient for large groups. In this talk we introduce a mechanism to keep and share files in a more efficient and manageable way, using Subversion (SVN).
