Webinar 2022 Visualizing job properties for wait time assessment

In order to assess job wait times it is valuable to visualize the parameters of a sample of jobs in order to identify the properties that impact wait times. This seminar describes a procedure used by staff to help users assess unexpected wait times and prioritize options for changing job submission behaviour. These summary tools run in a Python notebook that queries the system scheduler and provides interactive figures which facilitate the discovery of queue delay causes from sacct output tables.
