This webinar will compare the available tools for solving jobs that consist of many tasks including: Job Arrays, GNU Parallel and GLOST. The type of tasks suitable for these approaches will be explained. Also the ability of these tools to conduct parameter sweeps over one or more variables of an equation or design space will be looked at. Finally strategies for bundling the tasks into a single job to be submitted to the SLURM scheduler on the clusters will be demonstrated using actual examples.
